getResponse function

Extract Response Variable from an Object

This function is generic; method functions can be written to handle specific classes of objects. Classes which already have methods for this function include data.frame, gls, lme, and lmList.

getResponse(object, form)

Arguments

• object: any object.
• form: an optional two-sided formula. Defaults to formula(object).

Returns

For the data.frame method, the result of evaluating the left-hand side of form in object.

For gls, lme, and lmList, the sum of the fitted values and the residuals.
